Of course Muslims aren't silly and stupid. It is Islam with its, flying horses and invisible magic dragons, that is silly. Unfortunately, the silliness seems to permeating throughout Muslim culture.The fact that this list abruptly stops after the 18th century is good evidence for that claim.

Also, you cannot equate those inventions with Islam. For one, these are work done by individuals hence credit should go to them. Secondly, these inventions were not derived from Koranic passages. They were result of scientific and rational inquiry.

More damningly the end of Islamic Golden Era was heavily influenced by the Sunni Shiite blood feud which is at core a religious civil war. Also, these inventions were heavily influenced by Greek rationalism which the Mu'tazili school favored. The moment more Orthodox, aka Qu'ran-centric, religous traditions took hold Islamic science began to suffer.

The Islamic Science was doing fine until people started taking the Quran literally. This comes as no surprise to me because whole book is about the inversion of rational inquiry and the subjugation of the human curiosity in favor of masturbating the ego of an invisible magic dragon.

arabs golden era was started after Islam, after quran came to their hand. and that age called westerners as dark age.it was dark for them,not for us. the many inventions invented by muslim but no body knows becoz westerners started using arab names as english names.

i dont know how apes still exist on earth if they turned as human and y now its stopped... there are errors in it.i dont know much regard this anyway we believe that there is a creater.and quran have enough scientific proofs to believe in it.

The apes you see in nature today are not our ancestors. Humans and modern apes shared a common ancestor.

If Americans and Australians are decedent from Europeans why do we get Europeans these days? Or if bulldogs and german shepherds are decendent from Wolves why do we see wolves in nature?
