One small note. Nuns are clergy. muslim women are not clergy. Get the difference?

for us men and women are to worship god.we dont have a particular party who follow the teachings. but all should follow becoz we want all to be in the right path. so u should respect all the muslim women as we respect ur nuns.:):):)

Five women were paraded naked and beaten up on Sunday by villagers on suspicion of being witches in Deoghar district, about 350 km north-east of Ranchi.
Three of the five women are widows.

The women were beaten up so severely that they were seen writhing in pain. The face of one was burnt with incense sticks. The Palajori block development officer and officer-in-charge of the local police station got wind of the incident and reached the village with the police.

They rescued the women from the crowd and brought them to the police station.

Sushila Kumharin, Sagiran Bee, Hafijan Bee, Sujan Bee, and Gulnar Bee — the women who were beaten up – belonged to Pathalghatia village, where the incident took place.

It is not known which three were widows among them.

According to reports, a witch doctor instigated the villagers to thrash the women.

A witch doctor is meant to exorcise evil spirits.

Villagers first beat up the women in the morning. Subsequently, they misbehaved with them for an hour and dragged them out naked, abusing and thrashing them relentlessly.

The villagers were pressing these women to confess that they practised witchcraft.

The police, later, recorded the statements of the victims in which they named the culprits.

According to reports reaching here, four women were also involved in the five women getting beaten up.

the story was true, dont hide the truth :lol::lol:

Ah! you forgot to mention the word choice.

    yes as muslim
women should cover and men should keep beard. there are rules for both as no choice for a clergy in other religion. we consider our all muslim community as clergy. who ever dont want to cover they are well come to do.(not in saudi, its there government rule)

what if any buddhist who wear very modern dress like this.?

will she be in heaven or born as a very good buddhist in her next birth?????

what ur religion tells about other religion followers.?

what will they be in their next life????????

I think the take home point here is that we teach our men to keep their hands to themselves. And what you wear has nothing to do with your moral purity. By the way these are deities.

    this is what buddhism says
people cant be judged by dress, they have the right 2 wear anythng they want
She will have a nxt life according 2 good and bad deeds in this life
ex- if she dint lie, dint kill animals, dint drink, help others ..etc
she will get a good life... good life,
and its not a must 2 born as a budhist in next life, may b she will born as a budhist, may b she will born as a cathelic, and may b she will born as a man

And about other religion followers , they will also born according 2 their deeds, if they do gud deeds, they will get gud lives, if they do bad deeds they will get bad lives...
(note this is why our religion is unique. we dont say all the others suffer in hell, and we dont say all the buddhists will go 2 heaven)

but the ambition of our religion is not 2 get a gud life, but 2 stop this cycle
u born, u grow up, u get illnesses,u suffer u have 2 work hard, u will undergo troubles, problems, kids, politics, transfers, again u suffer then bcome older, then die
What our religion tells is try 2 stop this cycle, and it shows the way of stoppig this cycle...

And njsa, if u do good deeds, u will definitely get a gud life.. may b as a human, may b as a muslim, may b as a god ( note - god means another species like humans in our buddhism),

who knows if u do good things this life, u may born next life as the son of a king :eek::eek: but the problem is even a son of a king will experience troubles , problems....... think about it

Dont lie. you have male clergy called Mullah, but no nuns (Eh! shows the place of women in Islam).

mulla is not a clergy. they had just studied about religion than a ordinary muslim.

there are females who studied too. they also called as moulavy.

mullah means the head of the village and i think its a hindi word. im not sure.
the person who studied about religion much than a ordinary muslim we call as imam. and female maulavy are there too. u dont know about us so dont comment blindly.
and even a mulla or imam there is no different in rules. all have to follow same. they are just to teach us. thats it.

it is for you clearance that nearly half of the teaching of islam transmitted and received from the women ....that was about the prophet family life..
if you search the hadith you will wonder to see the references from Ayesha R.A the wife of Prophet (PBUH) are more than many of other companion Of Prophet (PBUH)
this is the respect islam has given to women many people asked sharia Question from them .... this is not only for them.. after them their come many great women in islam.....you can search in google "great women in islam"
and now in muslim there are also equal opportunities for women to learn shariaiat and there are many women scholor in muslims...
