  • u posted some pictures but no one knows still who they are. may be prostitutes. becoz that time kings had anthappura know.so is it allowed by buddhism.only monks should wear full sleeves and shave the head know.

can u reply to my other questions as well.:)
Buddhism asks to follow the civil rule of the country (look carefully, the country). The last picture is a statue of a Hindu god. First one is of a God which I am not sure of the name. But if you see carvings on Hindu temples you can get an idea of how women did not need to cover up. This is pictures of Rodiya women in late 19th century. Now these are not prostitutes.

(GTRZ: I think these are necessary to be posted)

These women lived very well without being targets of males who could not keep their hand to themselves.

Uh! I see the word clergy here.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulema

this everything given to them because of there education. when they study as per that, rank them as imam.same as we call dr. scientist professor.its there profession and no rules are there that only they should be strict.

as u mentioned about other religious people,we dont have many lives.only 1 life so should do our best to lead a life and get a good place in the day after. its like
there is only one sittiing in exam to enter university. so we should try our best.

do u have the concept of heaven and hell???????

No they are not prostitutes. I explicitly used the word diety, as in someone who lives in heaven, to describe them. I think that answers the question about going to Buddhist heaven.

so is it allowed by Buddhism.only monks should wear full sleeves and shave the head know.

can u reply to my other questions as well.:)

Monks have a dress code because they are an order; if you want to join you will have to follow a code. The full robe and shaved head is meant to signify detachment from worldly desires. It is only symbolic. Buddha never shaved his head. Nor is there a law in Buddhism ascribing a moral value for your dress code. Wearing white to a temple is only a ritual.

Let me ask you a simple question? what is inherently wrong with a woman wearing a bikini? Eve was in the nude, she didn't have an hijab or what ever.

I am trying to find out the SL king who ruled in 1890s and 1900s. Don't lie. You haven't studied anything. Google "Rodiya" and see the text with these pictures. You are really apalling.

can any man keep wives as he wish???????????
    In SL No.

so y monks arnt allowed to wear as they wish..
They chose to do it. if they feel it's killing him, he can quit monkhood. Can women quit the hijab like that?

thats the point i want to show u..
    Which is moot.

for u if she dont protect her modesty it will take time for her to reach to heaven know.
Modesty is judged by the cloths? I am ROFLMAO.

whom u feel to respect more.....a nun or a those lady who is topless!!!!!!!
Nuns are special group of people who had made a choice. The question will be whom I respect more, a muslim woman or a topless rodiya. Actually it is same.

    think brother think............

If I was a Rodiya, and I lived in 1900, there would be no problem. because every one dresses as such, and there were no Muslims men nearby who cannot control themselves.

  • please can u explain..

i heard buddhist tell about yame ragguruwo.
According to karma a person achieves (good, bad and neutral deeds), will effect where he/she is going to be reincarnated. If the person has akusala (bad karma) until the effects of the bad kamma is over he/she will live in either of four hells, pretha loka or as an animal. If the person has good karma, he'll be born in either of six heavens, five Brahma worlds or reincarnated as a human, and will lead that life until the effect of good kamma fades off.

    anyway ur
we teach our men to keep their hands to themselves

concept arnt working and there is a hot line number mentioned in all buses to call.u know what i mean.

Please, every country has prostitutes. You think fancy hotels in dubai don't offer escort services. The important thing here is the treatment of women. Women didn't have to hide their beauty or be ashamed of it in ancient Sri lanka. Historically the female body has always been treated as something special and sacred. This couldn't have been the case unless men respected women. In our culture fertility and grace is always represented with the female form. If you go to a old buddhist temple you will see two statues of women on either side of the entrance.

Now compare that with your Islamic culture where women have to hide behind a veil to preserve their dignity.

Heaven is another planet in Theravada Buddhism. You die and you get born there as an alien. The alien chicks looks like that. Now if i were born an alien chick I would look like that.

also some buddhist used to tell that they will born as animals or plants if make sin but some are telling no.

In Buddhism even going to heaven is a sin, you cannot escape suffering as a god.

I don't think Singapore is a very pleasant place to live. I can certainly question that government what is wrong with that, there are somethings that are wrong. You won't say it's their will if they ban Islam in Singapore.
