    The lyrics of Warna track are based on the begining of life on Earth as it was discoursed by Lord Buddha in Aggangnga Sutra. If you are curious, then take a look in to that sutra & know what it is about. Then, you guyz will be able to taste this song better. 'Coz, I have read a Sinhalese translation of that. So, that's how I got it.

    Thanks for the info dude. I was wondering what is this 'Warna' Track... Nadeeka's unique music style was shown in that song..
    (I also agree for the fact that, 'Arabumama kadulak' song should be done with less no of instruments + reducing that echo effect. I've listened to a live version and its awesome)
    Its a good thing to discuss about KK's song lyrics too... song is not just voice and music.. but the meaning also is a key factor.

    What about "Arabumama Kadulak Vela' lyrics.. what's the meaning of it... (There was a nice discussion went on this blog)

    Yeah true. It was a wonder for me too, when I listened "Warna" track for the first time. 'Coz, I didn't expect such a thing from KK & his fellows. But, I could got the thing @ first, since I had read a Sinhalese translation of that sutra. Surely, I will put it here, if i got a Sinhalese translation. I'm searching for that.:)

    Yeah, lyrics is important as same as the other two, voice & the music.
    When I read ur post, I remembered "Obe sitha ma sitha". I searched for that song for a long time, since I attracted to it's lyrics a lot. 'Coz in the poetry & the literature, usually a bridge is used to symbolize a connection, not a disconnection or a separation. But, in that song's lyrics it has been used in a different way. There, it has used to symbolize the suspicion & the nervousness. The lyricist has used a "Sangili Palama". We know how we feel when we walk on such a thing.We get little scared since it tends to shakes a little. So, see how nicely, the lyricist has used it to symbolize such feelings of the lovers. Remind the last phrase of the song.

    "Apa sith wen kala - Palama binduna"

    Lovers get over these situations, when they could vanish such feelings. So, in the lyrics, it is that bridge, which must be destroyed. So, that's it. What a nice thought. :love:

    Talking about lyrics is a very interesting to me. & I hope u all too. Here, I can't 4get "Kawlu Piyan Path", still which s my favourite KK & Sinhalese song. :yes:

    Yeah sure bro, I will keep posting. 'Coz, I'm also a big fan of KK. & thanx again to the starter of this thread & the all the participants. :yes:

    Hi EK friends, for your information Ajith Premalal is a member of the Hindi music lovers' association, & sings Hindi songs at our Geet Madhuri programmes. He took part in Sirasa super star 1.
    His daughter has greater talent than the father, & sings Lata Mageshkar songs with such ease. She must be only 7 or 8 yrs. old now. It is amazing to watch the father & daughter sing together.
