The Monaragala police arrested and later released two people today while they were putting up posters in support of General Sarath Fonseka with the wording ‘get ready for the SF mission’.

Police media spokesman SSP I.M Karunaratne said the two people were released on bail after it was found that the posters did not contain “anti state” slogans.

Meanwhile the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) in a statement said that the two men were supporters of their party and that they were engaged in campaigning for the upcoming presidential elections.

this is my view

I say most of Unp voters in past have opted to vote Mahinda since Ranil is not considered as a good leader according to the general public view.
let say 35% of UNP party supporters have voted for Mahinda and ,other recent elections.
those 35%(this is a mere no ) this time will double think what they should do this time.

If Mahinda wins it surely will not be by a bigger margin .
