Dash of colour - photoshop tut

    Monochrome with dash of colour. . . sorry if repost. .
    the software using is photoshop .

    1, open desired pic with photoshop. . .


    2, Go to - Layer tab > New adjustment layer > Chanel Mixer . .


    3, Press Ok, . .


    4, In the Chanel Mixer window, check the box monochrome then press > ok


    5, Then select the Brush Tool > & the Foreground color to Black. . .


    6, Brush The Areas u want .. . .


    7, Save as whtever u like. . .

    Nice, i didnt know about this trick. I do the same with using the history brush or,

    1.) make a duplicate layer of the image

    2.) Use a gradient overlay [black n white/ or any gradient you prefer]

    3.) Use the eraser tool to erase any areas you want to see the original colors.
