yeah first ape part in the book was much detailed but how it was portrayed in the movie actually went along with how the movie ended cos the movie wanted to keep it a bit obscure...in the book we know what that monolith is and all but in the movie it also can work as a symbol :)

for age of 22 u have watched so many movies. and u r taste is good..that's great
at u r age we didn't have movies .coz no internet speed as today...
what we did was borrowed novels from uni library and read them .thats ma hobby those days..so have read so many classic novels (world literature)

    thanks mate and you've seen much more than i have ..and im happy to have your recommendations and see most i haven't ..once you've gotten into seeing movies you can't turn back lol you want to have seen all good ones of them :)
    ive read a few books too but not many i guess that was my childhood hobby :lol:

    lol only reason i watched it was a friend of mine had left this on my hard drive :lol: but it turned out fine..yeah cinematography was excellent so was the score.... but i got bored sometimes :) i gave it 8/10..should have gave it more lol now that i think about it it deserved better..a movie with a message.

    :rolleyes: must be A Girl friend i presume , haha i still am suprised u wacthed this.. :rofl: most likeable matter was it hadnt cheesy cliches other Romantic comedies have , im getting obssesed with French flicks one of these days

    Watched The Blind side...Nice movie and has a real life, happy ending :)

    saw 2001 A space odyssey and read the book right after that ..and now im simply stunned ..
    even though the movie is an absolutely masterpiece after reading the book right after seeing it, it feels like that the movie left out a lot that was in the book..i know that's not a fair thing to say though....that was a great experience anyway I'm fucking stunned to my bones lol...anyway i agree with the cliched opinion, that kubrick was a genius.

    i gotta watch this , i read 2001, 2010 and 2061 sometimes back , dont remeber a shit though ..:baffled:

    lol no not a girl friend :P lol i was pretty bored and had nothing better to do n just wanted to give it a try and i kinda started liking it and yeah it was pretty unique...

    Yup, I've seen this. Loved that drum dance sequence.
