Machan I don't want to comment about the politics side of things, but I would never ever comment Aba to be a crap movie. What's happened to us right now is our entertainment taste buds are being intoxicated by 3rd class foreign movies (mainly shitty bollywood rolls). Just think about what we really expect from a so called 'movie'? Cuz it (hindi films) has tranquilized or killed our creative/smart imagination we now think revealing (what people call 'sexy') or unrealistic (what people call 'action') films to be real films. I think it's the same theory you people have applied on Aba which I think is a masterpiece of art and knowledge. Aba is not only a great film but also a hard earned research effort of JA. This movie deserves much more appreciations since this is leads to a plot to rectify the misconceptions and errs that people believe about the Sri Lankan history.
I think we Sri Lankans need to give this movie the due respect and also get your minds back on educated entertainment rather than doping on 3rd class films (which are like drugs : the entertainment is just instantaneous and doesn't last any longer)
