Presidential Candidate General Sarath Fonseka is to Address the Nation on Channel Eye (State TV Channel). This is scheduled on 1st of January from 8.30pm onwards.

State media not given any chance to opposition candidate sarath fonseka to express his view and plans from their channels. However as per the given quota for the candidates from state media by the election commissioner (on rules and regulations), sarath fonseka got this change to address the nation from Channel Eye.
