How can I improve the quality of AVI video?

Today I download a video. It is a AVI quality and it looks suck! Sound is quality but video is not very quality.

So I want to know whether can i improve the AVI quality by using any software. Or else are there any ways to improve the quality of it.

Thanks a lot for this software bro. But the problem is i didn't dl it from youtube. When i try to open it from hard it gives a error.

If it is in low resolution & high bitrate, you can upscale it. but for low bitrate, nothing to do

It is AVI type bro. About a video of train journey. How can i see the video type encode setting.

oh bitrate ? actually birate is the quality. when it comes to Video or Audio.
some examples
we watch DVDRips neh ? if they are 1CD the video bitrate is around 0.8 Mb/s. If it is 2CD its 1.2Mb/s
Original DVD5 vob files its are around 4-6 Mb/s
DVD9 dual layer VOBs are around 7-11Mb/s
720p Blue Ray Rip - 4-6 Mb/s with 1280x720 resolution.
1080p Blue ray Rip - 8-13 Mb/s with 1920x1080 resolution
pure blueray disk - 40-50Mb/s.

And audio MP3 - 128,160,192-V2 , 225-320 V0 kbps
FLAC - 1.4MBps

thats how bitare quality changes with the bitrate. you can see the bitrate using media palyer classic press shift + F10 > media info > video bitrate
