General Fonseka visits his old school after 50 years

    Common Opposition Presidential candidate Rtd. General Sarath Fonseka made a surprise visit to his first school Madawalalanda Maha Vidyalaya, in the Ampara district yesterday.

    He was having a close look at the school Admission registry in which he had been the 115th student admitted to the school in 1955 along with the present school principal and with his classmate, Suvandarala Sudu Appu.
