The so called fly-overs he built for development comes with an expiry date...in other countries they are temporary flyovers that are put up till the real ones are built...thats the sort of development MR has brought us...its temporary and only to cover up the reality....a plaster to cover up the wound.

And from what i've heard, even his advisors are not going to vote for him...the whole administration is dysfunctional...and we'll see on the 27th whether its true.

I lost my relations during this war and my family and I do watch all kind of news ( Sirasa included ) and my dad is a person who risked to be burnt because of UNP.

First of all i'm really sorry to hear about what the war and the unp have done to you and your family...I really am...

But still it goes to prove that you are no impartial judge on who will be the best leader in the coming years. last time I didn't have a vote. But I forced my dad to vote for MR so the country won't be left in peices. But the war is over now. If we don't let it go and move ahead ....keep talking about the war over and over again it's not going to be a bright future for any one. It's not easy for many but MR isn't letting go of the war. That is his biggest and probably only achievement.

And the corruption? unprecidented levels!!!

Btw remember when you call SF a Billy boy he was bombed almost to death...fought in the frontlines just like any other soldier...when we didn't have rocket launchers and UAV recon. MR on the other hand ....well did very little that anyone took notice otherthan STEAL...

I used to respect Sf as a real hero.But I would have never thought he's capable to sell himself

there were people saying whole war is fake and news = all lies.They said the war is fabricated and the army is attacking to jungles, soldiers shooting themselves to make it look like a real war.
They've figured the war is really in process...so their comment was: "It will never end and they'll never capture Prabahakaran, the terrorism will never end "And now....their Latest plan >> "Mahinda hora"

Sarath Fonseka used to praise our President and blame UNP.
but now???
UNP's supporting SF and SF's blaming MR...


The swan symbol that is representing Fonseka as he bids for the Presidency belongs to the New Democratic Front and registered under the name of Mrs. S Perera though Fonseka is not a member of this party as well.

this symbol and the name was previously used by Lalith Ethulathmudali and Gamini dissanayake, the renegades of UNP during premadasa era. I think someone ought to fish news paper archives of 1992-1993 period.
