Ok guys....with the election date so close....i am going back over all the points to better use my vote....this is sarath fonseka's turn....

what exactly is Sarath Fonseka's plan for sri lanka....has he told us what he intends to do to help sri lanka economically/in urban planning/militarily...

after and IF he abolishes the executive presidency....what will sarath fonseka do...what does he plan to do?

As par as I know he has clearly mentioned what he intend to to if he win , that he will not obey in advise from economic experts , that he will run his own way.

So the question is what experience and skills he as on this area.

The Special Task Force (STF) of the Sri Lanka Police have arrested a supporter of opposition Presidential candidate while in possession of two T-56 weapons and 54 hand grenades around 7.00 pm this evening (January 23).

These items were recovered at a Buddhist temple Bodhirukkaramaya at Maligawatte in Colombo, according to STF sources.

A Buddhist monk, said to be a strong supporter of opposition candidate General (Retired) Sarath Fonseka has been taken into custody, according to police.

The Government believes that the recovery of such weapons has revealed the plot a section of the opposition to create violence and put the blame on the government during next Tuesday’s Presidential election.

Police are carrying out further investigations

This is crap. reason is that Monk is in support with SF, So MR has done this by using his executive powers

Malli do you have any idea about those executive powers? have you ever in your life has gone through the government constitution. executive powers was bought into the system for the betterment of the country in early 80's however later on many of presidents used that powers for unethical things. thats y it should really need to be banned. there are many things can be done with out these executive powers. just take a look at other countries. do you think they also got executive presidents?

yes...America for one.....they had to coz their politicians were under the control of big businesses....and they voted with their interest in mind....
