Fonseka to contest General Elections

Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka on Thursday announced that he would contest the upcoming general election in Sri Lanka. He said that if he did not contest the election, it would let down the people who voted for him.

Fonseka said he was yet to decide the place and political party he would contest from. ``Yes, otherwise, I will let down the people,’’ he said when asked about his candidature.

The Sri Lankan government is likely to dissolve the current Parliament soon and call for a general election as its tenure is coming to an end. The new 225-member Parliament has to be constituted before April 20.

if he wants to contest, first he has to behave like a mature person, real leader.
should not speak contradictory things
should speak pleasent words,
Should not spill out things which puts the motherland in harm!
but still he seems to be yelling things which are very detrimental to SL. so he must lean his weak points and correct those. then people will prefer him again.
if he continue to speak things which are detrimental to whole SL country, the general public will go away from him ( like what happened to Ranil)
