1. Why is Karuna not being persecuted?
If you think he is a rightful rep for the tamils why didnt you opt for Pirabakaran? Praba made flaws in his cause, by which he became a threat to the people whom he thought he was representing.. Tamil in the North never liked the LTTE.

Of all the sinhala majority living in South,... the ones who understood the Tamils in the North were the ones involved in the war.. the army.. that is one reason why they trusted SF,.. and to say the truth they were still not exploited by cheap politics which happen in the south.. So my next question is some of the MR supporters showed the map of the areas where tamils lives in Majority and said that SF is only good to be a leader for the Tamil EELAM....

The disabled soldier who disappeared while serving in General Sarath Fonseka’s office at Rajakeeya Mawatha in Colombo on the 11th has been
found near Colombo Town Hall today (13th). He was found dumped on the road after being brutally beaten up. The war hero, critically injured in
the attack on him, has been admitted to ward No.7 at Ragama Teaching Hospital.The disabled war hero, J. Asoka Kumara of Kusume Gedera,
Ragama left his home on the 11th saying he was going to Gen. Fonseka’s office to serve the General.
He was abducted by an unidentified group. He had been forced to sign a letter. In the letter there had been three details and he had been forced to sign stating the details given in the letter were true.
The three points were:
1. Gen. Sarath Fonseka gave him a firearm,
2. Gen. Sarath Fonseka and Parliamentarian Arjuna Ranatunga had an illicit affair with tele-drama actress Upeksha Swarnamalee (Paba)
3. That Gen. Fonska had told him that his wife should have an illicit affair with Gen. Fonseka to get his pension.
The gang that abducted him had told him he would not be harmed if he put his signature stating the details given in the letter were correct. When he refused to sign the letter he had been shown money and had asked him to sign the letter. When he had refused to sign the letter again the savages had cut the disabled war hero’s hair and using various tools had plucked hair in his eye brows. Later they had brutally assaulted him demanding him to sign the letter. However, the war hero had refused to put his signature and when they failed to get his signature they had dumped him on the road near Town Hall.
Mr. Asoka Kumara has said he had never seen his abductors before and he couldn’t see where he was being tortured as his eyes were covered when he was taken there. This disabled war hero, a sergeant, was injured while taking part in ‘Jaya Sikuru’ operation in 1995 and had retired on medical grounds due to being disabled. When Gen. Sarath Fonseka contested the presidential election this disabled war hero contributed his service to the General for about 1 ½ months in General’s office.

The disabled soldier who disappeared while serving in General Sarath Fonseka’s office at Rajakeeya Mawatha in Colombo on the 11th has been
found near Colombo Town Hall today (13th). He was found dumped on the road after being brutally beaten up. The war hero, critically injured in
the attack on him, has been admitted to ward No.7 at Ragama Teaching Hospital.The disabled war hero, J. Asoka Kumara of Kusume Gedera,
Ragama left his home on the 11th saying he was going to Gen. Fonseka’s office to serve the General.
He was abducted by an unidentified group. He had been forced to sign a letter. In the letter there had been three details and he had been forced to sign stating the details given in the letter were true.
The three points were:
1. Gen. Sarath Fonseka gave him a firearm,
2. Gen. Sarath Fonseka and Parliamentarian Arjuna Ranatunga had an illicit affair with tele-drama actress Upeksha Swarnamalee (Paba)
3. That Gen. Fonska had told him that his wife should have an illicit affair with Gen. Fonseka to get his pension.
The gang that abducted him had told him he would not be harmed if he put his signature stating the details given in the letter were correct. When he refused to sign the letter he had been shown money and had asked him to sign the letter. When he had refused to sign the letter again the savages had cut the disabled war hero’s hair and using various tools had plucked hair in his eye brows. Later they had brutally assaulted him demanding him to sign the letter. However, the war hero had refused to put his signature and when they failed to get his signature they had dumped him on the road near Town Hall.
Mr. Asoka Kumara has said he had never seen his abductors before and he couldn’t see where he was being tortured as his eyes were covered when he was taken there. This disabled war hero, a sergeant, was injured while taking part in ‘Jaya Sikuru’ operation in 1995 and had retired on medical grounds due to being disabled. When Gen. Sarath Fonseka contested the presidential election this disabled war hero contributed his service to the General for about 1 ½ months in General’s office.

The Four Mahanyakes of the three Nikayas in a stern message to President
Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday called for the immediate release of General
(retd.) Sarath Fonseka and other Army personnel who had been taken into
custody. Drawing the President’s attention to the historic role the Maha Sangha had played in solving rifts between the leader of the country and those who held opposite views, the four Mahanayakes said: “We cannot approve the arrest of Gen. Fonseka and other Army personnel who were with him. They have risked their lives to eliminate terrorism and played a major role in creating peace. Comments made by Gen. Fonseka as a presidential candidate should not lead him to be arrested.”
