but why are our people who know the budhdha statue this eager to go see akon.

I can understand akon's actions
I can totally understand not going to the steets protesting over this music video (that would be pretty dumb)
But the eagerness to embrace this moron by our people is beyond me.

I am not that inclined to go see somebody who spits on me even unknowingly.
I' not condemning Akon but the fanboys here who seem so numb or have severed the umblical code with their country.

Akon may not have intended to hurt sri lankans but Sri Lankans should feel some sting.
And I question the nationality of those numb there.
