Just finished Watching
To Kill a Mockingbird
This is a beautiful and touching movie telling a story set in the early 1930's during the depression.
Gregory Peck's performance won him the best actor award for this (fully deserved) and it is considered that his portrayal of Atticus Finch is the best portrayal of this character and he is synonymous with the character (much like Christopher Reeve is for Superman).
The movie is Number 1 in AFI's list of best courtroom drama and Atticus Finch is considered to be the #1 hero of US films.
Halfway through the movie, I realized that I had seen this one before on TNT Classic Movie channel back in the 90s when that channel was shown on local TV.
one more thing, even though this poster is in color, the movie is in black and white.
Also I think this is about the only movie where you get to see Robert Duval with hair on his head.
