i have a movie in my mind called The Killing Fields (1984)8.0/10 IMDB.
Downloaded today.
This is the third attempt to c this movie.
first attempt was discarded due to a bad dvd.
second attempt was from collection dvd which i bought from pettah may be 2007 again failed due to bad dvd
so i downloaded it finally.

this movies sounds very familiar...

GITS happens in terra ferma where people are plugged in to the internet and living their lives on the net.
If anything, Matrix & The Surrogates has the same atmosphere as this one
(Heck Matrix was heavily based on this).

anyhow both movies remind me of one another ive been reading that matrix was influenced by akira ..and dark city too looks like lots of movies influenced matrix

the Wachowski bros had said that GITS was a huge influence for the matrix.
