oh ok..that means this so called "perfect relgion" also has debates about it's content..???...

Hello buddy, Neither we worship scholars nor follow them. as you aware what we have to follow is Quran and Hadith.even if Prophet (SAW) told us to worship him also we would have not worshiped him..but what he told is worship Allah.

ok then answer one simple thing which came to my mind right now.....you people lick your fingers well after eating, which is considered as a very manner-less thing...what is the scientific explanation behind that.....(don't want to go in to deeper questions...)

Dont know whether any scientific explanation is there related to that. but most of muslim do just because Our prophet did and intension of not to waste even bit from our food. and unlike other religions we are not behind science coz for us first Quran & hadith 1st as it shows us the correct path, only after that science.

:baffled::rofl: do you know, english language has a very nice proverb for this..."blowing your own trumpet"......i think no other fits best to this than you muslims does...

I dont know this proverb, but only know that you people are blind though having good eye.you are going to be loosers surely.!!

:dull::dull:can you just simply marry anybody you wish???i want to marry a rich girl,,can i marry bill gate's daughter.???...what type of stupid thought is that....(and above all mohammed being a poor person..).....that was the best option for him.....

I hope you have lake of knowledge about prophet mohammed and history, actually he was honest, sincere and kind person at that time.he was called as "Al Ameen" (means "Trust worthy") even by non muslims. so he was impressed the community specially by Business people as they needed honest people at that time for their business purposes.that is the main reason even Khadeeja married him. so No wonder if khadeeja was not there someone else would have offered to marry him

this is the islamic definition of end of childhood or become adult
person who has reached full growth or alternatively is capable of reproduction
also see this

http://www.answering-christianity.com/minimum_age_for_marriage.htm

A girl reaching puberty does not mean she has reached full growth or is capable of reproduction. It says that her body has now begun adjusting for the reproduction.

A girl reaches full growth or gets the full capability of reproduction,(specially Bearing a child and giving Birth) when she is 17 -18 years old.

So clearly there's no flow in Islamic definition. But seems like Muhammad misinterpreted it.

A 13-year-old Yemeni girl has died of internal bleeding three days after being married, rights groups say.
The report comes amid ongoing debate on setting a minimum age for brides in Yemen, where more than a quarter of girls are married before the age of 15.
A 2009 law setting the minimum age at 17 was repealed after some lawmakers said it was un-Islamic. A final decision is due this month.
There was no official confirmation of the death by Yemeni officials.
The girl, said to have been married to a man in his 20s, died in the west of the country last week, the Arab Sisters Forum (Saf) rights group said.
A medical report by the hospital where she was treated said she had suffered a tear to her genitals and severe bleeding after intercourse, the group said.
In a statement obtained by the Reuters news agency, Unicef's regional director, Sigrid Kaag, said the UN child agency was "dismayed by the death of yet another child bride in Yemen".
Human rights groups have been pressurising the authorities to outlaw family-arranged child marriages in Yemen, which has a tribal social structure.

Madam Aishah, a Study of her age at the time of her marriage with Prophet Muhammad

Introduction:

Aishah was a great Muslim lady, the daughter of the Prophet’s closest companion Abdullah ibn Abi Quhafah, better known to us as Abu Bakr, and his second wife, Umm Ruman. She was the ‘second beloved’ of the Prophet, the joy of the last years of his life. She was so famous that it seems quite extraordinary that some of the best-known facts about her should be challenged. This, however, is what this pamphlet proposes to do.

As a writer, I have been obliged to come to terms with two unfortunate but apparently unshakeable facts of life; the first is that no matter how hard one tries, or pays attention to the work one is doing, it is impossible to avoid slips in one’s work creeping in – through tiredness, momentary lack of concentration, interruptions, mind too full of racing thoughts, etc. Once the slip is in, it may lie there unnoticed, even by the original author, through many proof-readings. The second fact of life is that once things have been written down and appeared in public, they get repeated and copied by others, ad infinitum – often without question, and usually without consulting the original sources to check accuracy.

In this concise booklet, we consider what may possibly be the most serious piece of mis-information in the whole of Muslim history – the long-unchallenged notion that the Prophet’s third wife Aishah, the daughter of his dear friend Abu Bakr, was only six when she accepted nikah with the Prophet, that she married him physically when she was around nine years old, and was around eighteen when he died. One can find these ‘facts’ quoted again and again; moreover, they appear to be based on the most trustworthy of authorities – the hadith collections of Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, an-Nisa’i and Ibn-e-Majah.

However, there are many points to consider. Firstly, all of these authorities seem to have based their conclusions solely on the work of Aishah’s relative, the historian Hisham ibn Urwah, the grandson of Aishah’s sister Asma. One might think, therefore, that they were extremely accurate. However, Hisham’s accuracy in other matters was challenged. The matters pertaining to Aishah were supposedly obtained from Hisham’s father, but apparently these particular hadiths were offered only in Iraq and were unknown to the people of Madinah, and must necessarily, therefore, be regarded as not entirely trustworthy. (The reasons are given in the booklet).

In order to help the reader form his or her own judgment, certain fixed dates and terms should be placed before them.

- The birth of the Prophet was in 570 CE.
- His Call to the Prophethood occurred in 610 CE.
- The year his wife Khadijah died was 619 CE.
- The most likely year of his nikah to Aishah was 620 CE.
- The Hijrah to Madinah took place in 622 CE.
- The Prophet’s full marriage to Aishah was in 2 AH/623-4 CE.
- The Prophet died in 10 AH/632 CE.
- Most authorities agree that Aishah died in 50 AH/672 CE.

The conclusions formed about the dates and age of Aishah rest on three separate theories. The first, and most widely accepted throughout the Muslim world, is that she was born in the fourth year of the Prophethood (ie 614 CE). This is based on one reference in Ibn Sa’d’s work, which seems to be contradicted by many of his later statements. If this was true, it would mean she was indeed five when Khadijah died, six when her nikah was performed, nine in the year of her full marriage, and eighteen when the Prophet died. However, it would also mean that if she did die in 672 CE she was only fifty-eight, and not sixty-seven as most authorities report.

The second theory is that she was born some four years before the Prophethood, in 605-6 CE. This would mean she was 4/5 when he was called to his mission, 14/15 when Khadijah died, 15/16 at her nikah, 19 in the year of her full marriage, and 27/28 when he died. She would have indeed been sixty-seven when she died in 50 AH. (Sometimes one has to be flexible with the years, because people tend to ‘round things up’ and take into account the number of months in any year as a complete year – ie, if someone was sixteen years and eight months old, people might well say she was nearly seventeen.)

The third theory is that she was five years younger than Fatimah, who was said to have been born five years before the Prophet’s call, therefore making the year of Aishah’s birth in that very year, 610. If this was true, she would have been 9 when Khadijah died, 10 at her nikah, 12 in the year of Hijrah, 14 when she married him, 22 when he died, and 62 when she died.

The argument based on the age of Fatimah has a further complication, however, since her own dates are disputed. Isaba, for example, agreed that she was born in 605 since when she married Ali in 625 she was 20. Yet she was said to have been 29 when the Prophet (and she herself) died in the year 632 – which pushes her birth year back to 603.

The concept of nikah of a six-year-old Aishah has given ammunition to the enemies of Islam – which cannot be helped if it is true. However, so many given facts make this suggestion seem debatable.

My own personal conclusion from it all would be that Aishah was born in 605-6, and that Ibn Sa’d had been cursed by a glaring example of writer’s slip which went unnoticed and got repeated ad infinitum by those who used him as a primary source. The slip, I believe, was that he stated that Aishah was born in the fourth year of the Prophethood, when what he actually meant was that she was born four years before the Prophethood.

This makes all the points raised by the author in this booklet completely sensible, and of prime importance to our own generation of Islamic scholars.

Make up your mind man. How old was she when she married him? I know there are disputes about her age, but that is not the issue here. Some people do believe she married at 6.

The reason for starting this thread was after learning that Aisha married Muhammad at the age of 6, I watched a video of a Islam religious leader talking about it. He said

"Muhammad is our role model, He married aisha at the age of 6, therefor it is not wrong to marry a girl even if she is 1 year old."

This shocks me. Maybe what the prophet Muhammad did was not rape by the standards of that time. Maybe it was normal. But what has it done to today's society? clearly those actions are responsible for many child marriages, rapes, deaths today.

(1)Didn't he know that this would happen?

(2)Is there really a reason to marry a child?

(3)Knowing what his actions would result in, knowing the reflection of those actions will do wrong to a future society, he committed them. Isn't that a reason to question whether he really knew the right from wrong?

This is a perfect reason to question can he be a prophet of GOD? A man who cannot understand right from wrong?? Can he be from GOD???

This question comes to my mind. I'm sure it comes to your mind too.

Idi Amin the murder king ...

Ha, I do understand your maturity, which is why you glorify a murderer. You little know my friend that your outward images are a reflection of your inner self and your fantasies.
As for changing my mind, no thanks, I have a better mind than you, 'coz I don't share your brutal and sadistic joy at the suffering of other beings. You have enough time to embrace humane kindness.
If you ever want to move away from darkness to light, pl. contact me.
Thank you.

My Dear friend I dont get any question, you may get Question as you have negative mind as ur purpose is to melaine Islam.though I know you people never want to understand anything, still my responsibility is to mention the following.
Why Did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Married Young Aisha Siddiqa (r.a.)?

Through the centuries, orientalists have advance numerous accusations and far-fetched theories to discredit Islam and its last Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). Praise be to Allah alone, all such accusations have been successfully refuted by the Muslims Ummah. Currently, one of the 'reinvented' accusations against the noble character of the Prophet is about his marriage to young Aisha Siddiqa (r.a.).

Let's probe some of the orientalists' charges in detail in the light of modern research, historic evidence and the Islamic sources of the Qur'an and the Sunnah to separate truth from falsehood, and display to the world that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is indeed an exemplary for all of mankind.

Two main theories are often advance by orientalists to attack the pure character of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on his marriage to Aisha (r.a.) at her young age.

A. He was a Paedophile.

B. He was involved in child abuse.

Let's analyse each theory to dig out the truth, through the Guidance of Allah (SWT).

A. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) married Aisha (r.a.) because he was a paedophile?

Definition of a Paedophile:

"Pedophile: also spelled PAEDOPHILIA, psychosexual disorder in which an adult's arousal and sexual gratification occur primarily through sexual contact with prepubescent children. The typical paedophile is unable to find satisfaction in an adult sexual relationship and may have low self-esteem, seeing sexual activity with a child as less threatening than that with an adult." Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1998.

"pe.do.phil.ia n [NL] (1906): sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object -- pe.do.phil.i.ac or pe.do.phil.ic adj." Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary.

The diagnostic criteria for paedophilia according to American Psychiatric Association:

Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent intense sexual urges and sexual arousing fantasies involving sexual activity with a prepubescent child or children.
The person has acted on these urges, or is markedly distressed by them.
The person is at least 16 years old and at least 5 years older than the child or children in A.
DSM-III-R Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, rev ed. 3, (American Psychiatric Association).

"In addition to their paedophilia, a significant number of paedophiles are concomitantly or have previously been involved in exhibitionism, voyeurism, or rape". (Voyeurism is the recurrent preoccupation with fantasised or acts that involve seeking out or observing people who are naked, or are engaged in grooming or in sexual activity).

Harold I. Kaplan et al., Synopsis of Psychiatry, 5th ed. (Williams and Wilkens, 1988), p. 360.

Does the prophet fit the above criteria of a paedophile?

With the above criteria of a paedophile in mind, lets analyse the lifestyle of the prophet and his marriages.

His marriages:

Name of Bride

Bride's age at marriage

Percentage of his wives who were 17 years and older = 91 %

Percentage of his wives who were widows = 75%

Comments: The statistics show that the prophet's marriage to Aisha at her young age was an exception and not a norm of his other marriages. Furthermore "a paedophile's main mode of sexual satisfaction is with prepubescent girls", which is contradictory to the 91% of prophet's marriage to women 17 years and over. An unbiased examination of Prophet's life and his marriages to his wives blatantly rejects the notion of his lifestyle fitting that of a paedophile. All his brides were aged widows (except Aisha and Marya).

Moreover, according to the criteria in the references cited above in Synopsis of Psychiatry, a vast majority of paedophiles possess a history of exhibitionism, voyeurism, or rape. Again, there is no single reference from either religious or secular sources that the noble Prophet ever indulged in such sadistic behaviour (God forbid). This truth is observed and accepted by both Muslims and unbiased non-Muslims scholars.

"It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I re-read them, a new way of admiration, a new sense of reverence for that mighty Arabian teacher."

Annie Besant, The Life and Teachings of Muhammad (Madras, 1932), p. 4.

B. Others claim that the noble Prophet (peace be upon him) indulged in child-abuse when he married Aisha at her young age

Let scrutinise this allegation...

Definition of Child Abuse:

Child Abuse, also called CRUELTY TO CHILDREN, the wilful and unjustifiable infliction of pain and suffering on children. The term can denote the use of inordinate physical violence; unjustifiable verbal abuse; the failure to furnish proper shelter, nourishment, medical treatment, or emotional support; incest; other cases of sexual molestation or rape; and the making of child pornography. Frequently described by the medical profession as the "battered-child syndrome," abusive treatment of children is almost universally proscribed by criminal statutes. Child abuse can have serious future consequences for the victims involved. Delays in physical growth, impaired language and cognitive abilities, and problems in personality development, learning, and behaviour are common following instances of child abuse or neglect. Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1998

Comments: None of the criteria of child-abuse applies to the noble life of the Prophet (pbuh). There is no single incident of any infliction of pain and suffering by the prophet on Aisha or any other human being for that matter. Neither any instance of verbal or sexual abuse can be concluded from the relationship of the prophet with Aisha (r.a.) or any of his wives.

An abused child can have serious future consequences...delayed physical growth, impaired language..learning and behaviour...etc (above definition). As one examines the chaste life of Aisha (r.a.), her personality, physical, mental and spiritual development are all contrary to that of an abused child. In fact through the Prophet's marriage and his guidance to Aisha, history testifies that she should be labelled not as an abused child but as a 'blessed child'.

After analysing and refuting the accusations against the noble character of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the only viable alternative left with us is:

C. The Prophet married Aisha for the benefit of Islam and Humanity

Lets analyse...

1. The Prophet married Aisha primarily for three reasons:

a. To reinforce the friendly relations already existing with Abu Bakr (his closest companion).

b. To educate and train Aisha for the purposes of Islam.

c. To utilise her capabilities for the sake of Islam.

2. Her Marriage with the prophet was a Wahy (Divine Revelation). She, herself relates from the Prophet. "He said, 'I saw you in dreams three times. The angel brought you to me and you were clad in white silk. He (the angel) said that it was your consort and he (angel) showed me by opening your face. You are just like that..." Sahih Muslim, Vol.2, p. 285.

3. Aisha (r.a.) was born after her parents had embraced Islam. Therefore, she was free from the defilement of polytheism right from her birth.

4. In her youth, already known for her striking beauty and her formidable memory, she came under the loving care and attention of the Prophet himself. As his wife and close companion she acquired from him knowledge and insight such as no woman has ever acquired.

Aisha lived on almost fifty years after the passing away of the Prophet. She had been his wife for a decade. Much of this time was spent in learning and acquiring knowledge of the two most important sources of God's guidance, the Qur'an and the Sunnah of His Prophet. Aisha (r.a.) was one of the three wives (the other two being Hafsa (r.a.) and Umm Salama (r.a.) who memorised the Revelation. Like Hafsa (r.a.), she had her own script of the Qur'an written after the Prophet had died.

So far as the Hadith or sayings of the Prophet is concerned, Aisha (r.a.) is one of four persons (the others being Abu Hurayra, Abdullah ibn Umar, and Anas ibn Malik) who transmitted more than two thousand sayings. From her, 2210 Hadith have come, out of which 174 Hadith are commonly agreed upon by both Bukhari and Muslim.

Many of her transmissions pertain to some of the most intimate aspects of personal behaviour which only someone in Aisha's position could have learnt. What is most important is that her knowledge of Hadith was passed on in written form by at least three persons including her nephew Urwah who became one of the greatest scholars among the generation after the Companions.

It is the claim of the Scholars of Islam that without her, half of the Ilm-I-Hadith [knowledge, understanding of the Hadith (and Islam)] would have perished.

5. Many of the learned companions of the Prophet and their followers benefited from Aishah's knowledge. Abu Musa al-Ash'ari once said:

"If we companions of the Messenger of God had any difficulty on a matter, we asked Aisha about it."

"Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Said ibn al-Musayyab that Abu Musa al-Ash'ari came to Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said to her, "The disagreement of the companions in a matter which I hate to bring before you has distressed me." She said, "What is that? You did not ask your mother about it, so ask me." He said, "A man penetrates his wife, but becomes listless and does not ejaculate. "She said, "When the circumcised part passes the circumcised part ghusl is obligatory." Abu Musa added, "I shall never ask anyone about this after you."

Al-Muwatta of Imam Malik, Hadith 2.75.

Arwa Bin Zubair says,

"I did not find anyone more proficient [than Aisha (r.a.)] in the knowledge of the Holy Qur'an, the Commandments of Halal (lawful) and Haram (prohibited), Ilmul-Ansab and Arabic poetry. That is why, even senior companions of the Prophet used to consult Aisha (r.a.) in resolving intricate issued".

Ibn Qayyim and Ibn Sa'ad, Jala-ul-Afham, vol. 2, p. 26.

Abu Musa al-Ash'ari says:

"Never had we (the companions) had any difficulty for the solution of which we approached Aisha and did not get some useful information from her".

Sirat-I-Aisha, on the authority of Trimidhi, p. 163.

6. As a teacher she had a clear and persuasive manner of speech and her power of oratory has been described in superlative terms by al-Ahnaf who said: "I have heard speeches of Abu Bakr and Umar, Uthman and Ali and the Khulafa up to this day, but I have not heard speech more persuasive and more beautiful from the mouth of any person than from the mouth of Aisha."

The Prophet said,

"The superiority of 'Aisha to other ladies is like the superiority of Tharid (i.e. meat and bread dish) to other meals. Many men reached the level of perfection, but no woman reached such a level except Mary, the daughter of Imran and Asia, the wife of Pharaoh."

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith, Narrated by Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari Hadith 4.643.

Musa Ibn Talha (r.a.) says,

"I did not see anyone more eloquent than Aisha (r.a.)"

Mustadrak of Hakim, vol.4, p.11.

7. Men and women came from far and wide to benefit from her knowledge.

Aisha's great interest in the study of the Qur'an is understandable. She was an eye-witness to a number of revelations and had therefore a clear idea of the circumstances in which they were revealed. It was on her bed alone (and no other consort's) that the Prophet received Wahy (Divine Revelations) several times. This helped her in interpreting the verses.

8. At the time of the Prophet's death, the Prophet's head was on her lap. It was in her quarters that the Prophet was buried.

The life of Aisha (R) is a proof that a woman can be far more learned than men and that she can be the teacher of scholars and experts. Her life is also a proof that a woman can exert influence over men and women and provide them with inspiration and leadership. Aisha (R) is a continuing inspiration and role model to today's youth who are diligently searching for an example amongst the pop stars, movie actresses and sports stars. May the memory of her's live forever in the heart of the Muslim Ummah and may Allah grant her the highest abode in Paradise...Ameen.

Conclusion

It was the aforementioned qualities of Aisha (r.a.) and the Prophet's guidance in moulding these capabilities for the service of Islam, were the main reasons, why the Prophet Married young Aisha (r.a.), and not the perverted reasons brought forth by misguided orientalists.

Muslims invite all sincere humans to study the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon) in the light of the authentic sources of the Qur'an and the Sunnah (exemplary sayings and deeds of the Prophet) and judge for themselves where the truth lies. Indeed, by recognising the truth of Islam as the final and complete Guidance sent by our Creator can humanity find lasting peace in this world and a means of salvation from the hell fire in the hereafter.

"I have studied him - the wonderful man and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today."

George Bernard Shaw, The Genuine Islam, vol. 1, no. 81936.

Though, the Prophet is not among us in his flesh, but his exemplary life has been preserved for all humanity to follow.

When Truth comes Falsehood disappears, Islam came, now Shirk (polytheism) must clear.

See we don't mind your blame. I know u guys needs to find something on islam to blame.this is the common criticism which is being made by all the critics of Islam.coz, they know islam is perfect (Quran )at least they r desperately trying to find out a way to criticize about prophet's life.Keeping their scriptures itself wrong & contradictory. first u guys clean ur toilet before u ask to clean others toilet....

My Dear friend I dont get any question,
My dear friend, I know this is not true. Its not that you don't get any questions. It's just that you are afraid to talk about them.

you may get Question as you have negative mind as ur purpose is to melaine Islam.
I dont know the word melaine, can you explain it?

though I know you people never want to understand anything, still my responsibility is to mention the following.
Shows how close minded you are. You just want to assume things that benefits you. Just like all the rest of you guys, you are so determined to label someone as ANTI-ISLAM as soon as he raises a genuine question that has been there for centuries. I do not blame you. This defense mechanism is built in to your brain, from the day you began to learn Islam. "You do not ever question Islam. Anyone who does has no other motive than insulting Islam. Label them as ANTI-ISLAM."

You do not leave a margin for anyone to judge your religion, by asking simple questions. You find them difficult to answer. You get the same questions in your mind. But since its forbidden to think, your reaction would be to label the knowledge seeker.

Without answering the simple questions, you ask them to learn true Islam. You are so blinded that you cannot see, a non believer will not move on to deeper concepts, if he cannot see logic, answers to simple questions first. Islam asks you to teach your religion, but you fail to see how it should be done. To carry on Allah's will why can't you just think straight for once? Insulting or not, these questions will educate people about Islam. These questions will help a non believer to understand it. The logics in your answers will prove the logics in Islam.

The foundation of the Islam is faith. Your faith brings you close to your GOD. Why you can't understand that a non believer will not hold any value in faith? Answer his questions and do your duty for Islam, without uttering useless words. If you don't like to do it, why do you come to this thread in the first place?

Comments

Khadija bint khawilad- 40 - Twice widowed before
Sauda Bint Zama- 50 -widow
Aisha bint Abu Bakr-9- Started living with the prophet at the age of 9
Hafsa Bint Umar bin Khattab-22-Widow
Zainab bint Khuzaima-30-??
Umm-I-Salma bint Abu Umayia-26-widow
Zainab Bint Jahash-38-widow
Juwaeria Bint Harith-20-widow
Umm-I-Habiba bint Abu Sufyan-36-widow
Marya Qibtiya bint Shamun-17- Virgin-Egyptian
Safia bint Hayi bin Akhtab-17-widow
Raihana bint umru bin hanafa-?-?
Maimuna bint harith - 36- widow
Source: Syed Abu Zafar Zain, The Prophet of Islam, the Ideal Husband (Lahore: Kazi Publications), pp. 10-12.

A definition of pedophilia has nothing to do with the original question. He can be a pedophile or not. The questions is, being a middle aged man why did he marry a girl of 6? knowing what that action would do to future society why did he still conduct it? Can't he simply understand what is right and what is wrong? You do not need to defend anyone's actions, I'm not accusing anyone.

Statistics from the above table:

Percentage of his wives who were 17 years and older = 91 %

Percentage of his wives who were widows = 75%

Comments: The statistics show that the prophet's marriage to Aisha at her young age was an exception and not a norm of his other marriages. Furthermore "a paedophile's main mode of sexual satisfaction is with prepubescent girls", which is contradictory to the 91% of prophet's marriage to women 17 years and over. An unbiased examination of Prophet's life and his marriages to his wives blatantly rejects the notion of his lifestyle fitting that of a paedophile. All his brides were aged widows (except Aisha and Marya).

percentage of his wives who were 6 when he married - 9%.
So does the small percentage make the action less important?

Here's something for you to think about.
There's a murderer in the prison, his statistics are as follows.

Percentage of crimes that are not murders - 99%
Percentage of crimes that are murders - 1%

So his murder is out of ordinary, He normally do robberies assaults ans stuff like that. Should he not be charged for the murder????

I just brought this to show the lack of logic in this argument. Not to accuse anyone of anything.

I agree. By today's standards it is considered rape. But maybe not by those days standards.

You see this is where I disagree. His actions have clearly resulted in child marriages, rape, abuses, deaths today. So I cannot understand how one would feel this.

B. Others claim that the noble Prophet (peace be upon him) indulged in child-abuse when he married Aisha at her young age

I do not claim this. I just asked what do you think? Is this child abuse? Why not? Nevertheless what has his actions done to today's society?

C. The Prophet married Aisha for the benefit of Islam and Humanity

Lets analyse...

1. The Prophet married Aisha primarily for three reasons:

a. To reinforce the friendly relations already existing with Abu Bakr (his closest companion).
Fair enough.

b. To educate and train Aisha for the purposes of Islam.

Why did he needed to marry her for this?

c. To utilise her capabilities for the sake of Islam.
Why didn't he utilize the capabilities of an adult woman? Why did he had to marry her and have sex with her at the age of 9 to utilise her capabilities for the sake of Islam?

So GOD asked him to marry a child and have sex with her? Endangering her life and thousands of others in future? Does GOD understand right and wrong???

3. Aisha (r.a.) was born after her parents had embraced Islam. Therefore, she was free from the defilement of polytheism right from her birth.

There's no question about Aisha's importance to Islam After she spent a decade with the prophet. There's no question about her intelligence or skills. The question is why couldn't prophet choose a mature woman who is intelligent to pass his knowledge, why a child?

See we don't mind your blame. I know u guys needs to find something on islam to blame.
I do not have any problem with Islam or any other religion. And I do not want to blame any religion, as long as it does not harm anyone. If Islam is responsible for child marriages, rapes, abuses, deaths today, I blame Islam. Is there anything else to blame other than what's responsible?

Having said that I know it is not right to blame anyone but the person who committed the action and those who helped him. These actions are carried out by men in the name of Islam. It's a shame that people's actions reflect on the religion.
or maybe its the other way around.

this is the common criticism which is being made by all the critics of Islam.coz, they know islam is perfect (Quran )
Machan be realistic. These kind of statements add nothing. We all know Islam is perfect for muslims. And we all know Islam is not considered perfect by others. I mean, come on man.. We are trying to discuss here.
at least they r desperately trying to find out a way to criticize about prophet's life.

Right, like you are desperately trying to defend his actions?
We all have an agenda here, or else we would not be here. I know what my agen
da is.. But what amazes me is that you seems to know other peoples motives as well.

first u guys clean ur toilet before u ask to clean others toilet....

What toilet are you talking about here? Are you comparing Islam to a toilet??? And what is the other toilet you are talking about?
