saw bicycle thief last night. ..undoubtedly a masterpiece and the photography in particular was exquisite.

wonder if "බ්යිසිකල් හොරා" and "පික්පොකට්" are the sinhala remakes of these two movies...

lol this is depressive..a weird movie...bt i liked it..loved his acting too..i just cant imagine huw lynch made that mutant baby..it looks so real..

c his "straight story" "blue velvet" and my favarite "Mulholand dr."

wonder if "බ්යිසිකල් හොරා" and "පික්පොකට්" are the sinhala remakes of these two movies...

I dont know. I do know that there are 2 sinhala movies with those names. Joe may very well be in them. Both are from the late 60s or 70s.
Its a long time since I saw both on TV so cant remember them at all.

Now downloading his "lost highway" also.It was rated low by critics coz they also couldn't make some thing out of it. interesting to c

Kasandpol i suspect "පික්පොකට්" is same pickpocket by French director Robert Bresson's.
Coz it is said that the hero of the movie has some resemblance to
Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment hero "Raskolnikov"
I read this fantastic novel.Thats why i wanted to c that movie.
And it was again a masterpiece.
