Muhamed was the last prophet the last stamp....and because the other prophets were told to spread through total peace like jesus for example...the true followers of Islam under previous Prophets were killed off or changed...

that is Why self defense was allowed for Muhammad(pbuh) to make a final stand for Islam on Earth....in the Quran..incidentally God sent 4 books to earth....

yes we are Muslims.....sri lankan is just our nationality.....we are descended from Muslims in south India....hence the Tamil...

there are also Muslims who speak Urdu (descended from Muslims from Pakistan)

and Muslims who peak java....those are Muslims from Malay countries....

and we are one and the same...except for some customs....we worship the same God...but certain nut jobs have distorted our religion for their own standards....through killing and intimidation (aka the osama bin ladens and Taliban of the world...)

but Muslims always share the customs of their mother land....it doesn't reflect on their religion thou...hence the nationality in front of the name....
