God has given free will to man....so God won't control like some puppet controller.....God rules the earth by making events happen...like the making the tsunami or by helping ppl.....

but we have our own will to act and HOW we react to these events also go into how we live...and get rewarded or punished when we die....

i say one thing.....my parents did bring me up to be a muslim....but from the age of 11-19...i was an atheist....

coz i saw alot of Muslims spreading false rumors like "neil amstrong is a Muslim and heard the call for prayer on the moon etc"....

and during that time i stopped believing in God....when i turned 20....i went back and read the Quran properly this time with translations...coz of a question another atheist had asked me...

after i read the Quran during that time only did i be a true muslim again....so yeah....i taught on my own and became my own muslim...not out of pressure...as my parents are very liberal they don't force....as Islam is about believing from your heart not being forced to convert...

basically its says...look for peaceful options...if there are no such options...run away....and if you can't run away....fight till what ever attacking you gives up....if it gives up...let it go away peacefully don't pursue...if possible help what ever that attacked you...

four maximum....but has many rules....

1) Must be allowed in the law of the land you live in...

2) Previous wife(s) must consent to this....

3) Only marry for valid reason....

4) Must treat all wives equally....

5) Must provide for all Wives equally...you buy one wife a house you have to buy for other wives as well....

and as it is very clear.....Islam is saying....you can marry 4 times IF you must for valid reason (first wive cannot bear children etc)....but you life is gonna be living hell....better to avoid....
