Aniwa bro ............If we look closely about scenarios which happened in last few days there are lot to think about .Of course government thought that this would be a great chance to tell the world " Sri Lanka is peaceful place now .Anyone can visit here ....No harm and No threats ". And that was a good idea .But the problem was they didn't think that South Indian film industry(Not all but majority) was supporting LTTE from the beginning and they will disturb this function also . They had to think about that .
if we consider about Aishwarya and Abishek their main project these days Ravana has a Tamil version.What will happen if that film get rejected from all the south Indian film halls only because they attended this IIFA in sri lanka. That is what mattered to them . when you ompare number of fans in sri lanka to the number of fans to South India sri lankan fans can be ignored.
And later Amitabh who declared that "Im regretting that I wasn't born in sri lanka "
avoid the ceremony may be coz of his family .
So what we should do here ? we should tell them that we are a powerful nation too .if you do not care about our country why should we care about you ? Im looking forward that governmnet will take some actions against these bunch of actress and actors (including Sharukh Amitabh ,abishek and aishwarya) who ignored our country because of other matters. We should not
encourage them by importing their films here .
I saw a great comment by one of our actor in the yesterday newspaper .
Indians always say "Be indian buy indian" ...So its time to "Be sri lankan and buy Sri lankan " .And he also mentioned that one of our senior actor suminda sirisena had to spend the whole night at maradana station to go home aftre winning the best actor award in the stage dramas.
Not funny .But leave us lot to think about . Lets try to protect what we have .at least we should give a try .Thatz my opinion .......open for discussion
