Hana-bi ...different movie..very artistic and emotional in a very subtle way..had a hard time following the plot yet never got bored or disconnected from the movie due to its utterly beautiful shots and images.

closer,4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days .those two movies r very good.

das experiment ...surprisingly shocking and very intense..matter of fact, most intense movie i saw since eden lake..and everything was flawless here. if you like a good psychological thriller, this is the movie for you ..excellent piece of work and more surprisingly this was a true story..i never would have guessed

critics didn't like district 9?

Meta score is 81 .and 80s are better than average.But cant rely heavily on ratings.
For an instance "The Shawshank Redemption" is top on imdb 250 and "Supperman 2" is second on metacrtics.What u can get out of these rating schemes is u can find good movies to watch.thats all.

Just watched The Stranger

Seriously low budget flick with major plot holes and bad camera work.
Still it was better than Steve Austin's other 2 movies.
