The Rajapakse Govt. which has raised the prices of bread , milk packets and cylinder of gas, and cruelly burdened the people has, on the other hand increased the perquisites and privileges of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Accordingly , the fuel allowances , the telephone allowances and House rent allowances of the Ministers had been increased by a further 20% approximately. It is reported that the Cabinet Secretary has acted promptly in this case in sending out the circular regarding these increases.
