Canada is not good cause few reasons

1) Most of Tamil people live there especially LTTE supporters
2) The Climate is not good for people (I meant Winter so cold) and it's hard to adapting but US got different climates and in Summer it's like Srilanka even in Winter days some places still relatively hot
3) Unlike Canada ,there are lot of major roads are placed on US ,like if you have skills you can go wherever you want and be who ever you like even president if you work hard for that (but NOT president for immigrates I meant that's only for native people in that context I don't talk about native Americans I said people who born in US but if your any child born in US she/he can target for President post) - but you can be a scientist/professor/doctor/lawyer/musician/singer/anyone it's not hard like in Srilanka, in Srilanka you should definitely pass the Advance Level to be a Proferros but in US you have lot of alternative roads.! you only need plenty of money ,but it's not hard if you have skills (this is mostly for students)/like if you can program software /testing games/dance/sing/work in shop and there are many more thing everything got plenty of money that enough for cover basic basis ,but in Canada you are prevented by Winter in most of times so it's hard to do jobs that's involve outdoors.

buh canada is safe place to live n many of ma frendz and couzines elligaly crossed the border from us to canada and u can study for free after get the permanent resident buh in U.S us need to spend lot of money to study n work hard

Remember USA is a totally different country than anyother even than most of European Countries ,anyway just keep in mind what I mention.


1) Now Economy Crisis is little bit cured but still you can't find jobs as a student it means if you intend to go their for study purpose so obviously you may need a job to pay fees unless someone pay for you.

2) Student fees relatively high and every student (middle class) do a job or people who have property get a loan from bank but as an immigrate it's doubt bank will give a loan
cause it should be paid once you have done your study.

3) There are two type of higher study places in USA (and some western countries,you can see it now even in Srilanka)

Universities <- mainly based on Government sector.
Colleges <- Mainly based on Private sector.
Institutes <- this is doubt.

4) consider the universities and colleges ,you have full facility in universities rather than colleges cause most of them are funded well by government. but still both sides need equal qualifications unlike Srilankan Universities and Colleges now in private sectors.

5) the University's dorms(it's American English term for dormitory) are considerably high in
fees so some of students who can't afford for it find alternative houses like three or more people rent a house to stay so they all pay equal amount to stay there,don't expect a excess cause you are a girl.!!

6) most of places got like that foods

they are consist with high calories so you don't want to eat bunch of foods like ate in Srilanka ,and you can find lot of meat types

but note that some meats are never eaten in US lolz
,as a student probably you may not be able to find rice but some Asian shops like
Japanese/Philippines/they sell rice and also there is a place in most of major cities which is called China Town where you can find rice and some Asian stuffs
,also now there are considerable amount of Indian shops they may familiar with lot of South Asian stuffs


7) USA is a large country and different from place to place
some people are highly offensive while others are friendly but it's upto you how you behave and interactive with them. so try to find always Asian friends like Indians or Japanese/Chinese/Philippines/ cause they are familiar with Asian traditional

8) US people are allowed to use guns so careful when you get into a fight ,they hit harder than you realize ,most of people don't care about the sex .so don't expect an excuse cause you are girl and don't ever slap anyone cause return may even higher
,in Srilanka most of Males don't do anything in that case but in US they insult and slap or do anything maybe wait until they get a chance ,of course some times you can find innocent people.

9)Notice that careful from these types of people (this is the default context)

a) people who have tattoos
b) people who walk like a fag
c) people who look at girls like a pervert
d) people who talk like a gang (of course they speak in English but you can understand the pattern)
c) Mexican Immigrants
d) Lesbians (if any girl try to treat you in passionately probably she is a lesbian)
e) Racism people
d) Neo Nazism (Neo Nazims are people who believe Nazi philosophy in Russia that's called sometimes Skinhead)
f) people talk slowly/directly look at your eyes always and got some strange look

10) In USA women are considered as sex toys by most of males,even they don't realize that that's the normal pattern happens and they highly demand Tan or Brown Women
unlike White ,so as in Srilanka don't walk at night but places like time square or like that places okay as long as there are lot of people

11) don't expect help from anyone if you get into a trouble probably no one try to help you ,so your life in your hand or if you have friends then they may help you so always walk as a team ,try to find lot of friends as much as you can ,Asian friends are recommend,black friends are also recommend ,and some white from Europe.

remember the emergency Phone Number it's 911,so keep a phone always with you
call if you want a help,they will come quickly unlike Srilankan police. if there is an officer close to your area go for him/her/!

12) don't expect luxury facilities if you can't afford for it
most of people think US is like a heaven.
No. it's incorrect if you are poor ,or in middle class probably you can't get a chance to feel own luxury thing but remember US is a place of opportunity ,I meant there is a road if study well and have lot of skills you can have whatever thing you need but for people who at least don't have a degree or enough skills probably end up in Rival Gang clubs or stripper clubs or even whore Houses.

13) unlike Srilanka and some Islamic Countries and India ,US and Western countries
don't care about virginity of females ,if you tell someone you are virgin and 18< the probably (I don't talk consider you are marred) then they will laugh or something
some say most of people have sex in Friday rather than other days,(I said if you intend to marry an White-Black-American NOT and Indian OR Islamic-American)and always use a condom when you have sex cause there are lot of STDs (Sexually transmitted disease like HIV/and there are many more but remember if any disease consist Virus NOT bacteria then it's hard to cure)
,there are lot of porn channels in US , sex shops ,stripper clubs,legal whore houses,naked beaches,masturbation clubs any thing relative to sex.

14) in US legally drink age is 21 but most of drink after 16 ,you cann't go to clubs if you are under 18 but since your profile says you are 19 it doesn't matter

15) there are lot of thieves at night in US streets (well it's depend on place to place)
cut down night walking as much as you can

16) Notice now there is a Jihad in US ,by most of Islamic Radical Organizations like Taliban,
