A manager of a tourist hotel in Talpe, Galle has been taken into custody for allegedly sexually abusing a 14 year girl who was on vacation in Sri Lanka. The victim, a British national, was on a visit to Sri Lanka with her parents and was staying at the hotel.
The Women and Children’s Bureau in Galle has initiated investigations after a complaint was made by her parents to the Colombo Tourist Police. The victim has been referred to the Karapitiya JMO for medical examinations.
