I agree with coxgulo it should be 56kB. But SLT speed is not good at all the time, Where itz really unfair for customers. Hope people get some action........

The problem is not totally SLT's fault. Although they offer 512Kbps from their side, the telephone lines condition begins to drop by the distance due to various reasons such as noise inductance and this is quite normal for any system using old copper cables. Other countries have begun to shift to fiber optic cables and thats why we dont see much complaining from users in those countries.

You must be living within 1km from the nearest exchange so you will always get a steady rate around 56KBps. The farther you are from an exchange, the lower the bit rate no matter u have 2Mbps connection or 512Kbps connection.

ya me too have 2 say this 1st 512kbps gets only 56 or 57kb/s ! no falt on it, u cant complain them on that reason ! if u want more u have to pay more and moved to another package ! e unata ehema kiyala bahane dialog Rs 690 kata unlimited package ekak 3.5g speed ekak ekka denawalu neda anika eka hspda ! so apita me ganata meta wadiya labenna ona !
