Ancient Sex Toy Excavated In Sweden
The folks at Live Science have reported on a startling discovery: an ancient dildo was excavated in Sweden last week. Okay, so maybe it isn't actually a sex toy, and could have been used to "chip flakes of flint," but as archaeologist Gsran Gruber of the National Heritage Board in Sweden said:
"Your mind and my mind wanders away to make this interpretation about what it looks like -- for you and me, it signals this er'ected-penis-like shape. But if that's the way the Stone Age people thought about it, I can't say."
Interesting. Live Science reports that the object is about 4 inches long and 0.8 inches in diameter.
