How to Upgrade Huawei E220 Firmware..

Hey.. I have a Huawei E220 HSDPA modem.. but it has an older version of its firmware.. It only works on Windows XP properly.. We have to change some extra configurations to get it working on Windows Vista and 7.. I heard a simple firmware update can get it fixed to work easily.. So If you know about it.. please help me..

It works only as a Flash Drive.. I have to manually set it as a USB Peripheral Device

oh, I see.
Playing with firmware is not a good idea, unless you know what you're doing. You can hose the whole device if you're not careful.
