Start with the foundation level.

many places are offering these programs now in sri lanka

if you have a lot of money you can go abroad for studies

ANC (Australian National College) has a foundation course for Monash university, Australia. But the cost is very high.
You can do SLIIT,APPIT,ACBT for less amount.

Why u suggesting to do BIT,as there are hell lot of degrees and lot of degree giving institutes such as NIBM,SLIIT?
Is there something special in BIT rather than in IT degrees given by SLIIT and NIBM?
