well christians are very open minded people.

May be they realize that the base of their credence is not much strong or exact
So they may had to be open minded since they are desperate dont you think ?

Nice movie remind me of the reader.
But I dont know upto what extent is it ethical to have such a you boy in a sexual scene eventho it is just to make the film real:dull:

Anyway it doesnt change the fact that this is a good movie

I don't think so :) an example was given within the movie, that older lady.
hat philosophy don't have to be credible since they have faith, which is a big element in christianity..

    Personally I think
    in practical life
Christians has more motivation for doing good deeds than Buddhists .
it could be fear for god or something else
But in the end its easy to understand and act on it than Buddhism:yes:
Again its just my personal view

songs from the second floor...it's after some time that I saw a movie as extremely symbolic and surreal and yet powerfully moving as this one...to be honest, I didn't understand half of it as is the case with many movies of this type..they require multiple viewing and attention. there's so many detail in one frame its almost impossible to catch them the first time. but there were many scene that you can relate to many things that happen in the world since the movie was extremely metaphoric...

and it's so beautifully filmed...I don't think I've ever seen a movie before where the camera doesn't move at all..like many comments have said, this movie was more like a poem..a movie that had captured entire world within it.

that movie didn't have a conventional plot at all ..the director didn't compromise for a second :) It was a collection of different scenes remotely or closely connected to eachother as far as I thought at least...and it was slow paced...if you just kept looking at screen you wouldn't have understood anything ..you have to try and get something outa it ...you have to interpret it.

if you think your mind is up for that challenge, give it a shot ..I dont think you've seen a movie like this before at all.. and it's very slow mind you. people who thought godfather was fast, would have thought this movie was slow.

but I don't think you can have a clear idea on wut depths cinema can reach without having seen a movie like this or a tarkowsky movie...

so see it and see how your mind reacts to it.
