The Merchant of Venice
Without a doubt, Pachino stole the show. Slight change in the plot as it doesnt try to paint Shylock as a totally evil character but rather a gray character and the it certainly points out the antisemitism of the time, rather than making it out to be the standard norm, as it was in the book.
The whole cast performed really well and Jeremy irons was pretty much in his element but Pacino was the star.
Almost all of the dialog was Shakespeare's English so its a bit hard to follow the conversation but the movie portrays a pretty good 16th century Venice.
