I have a different idea of that movie that don't include buddhism at all and I like it and I still consider matrix 1, totally forgetting the sequels to be one of the finest movies ever and quite in the same league as fight club.

I dont think anyone can completely ignore the fact that movie has some influence of Budhism eventho there many alternative explanations

I dunno whether its just me but despite the fact how great and unique the concept and the story line is I think director somewhat ruined the movie
