    Thats not the country's rule its our religions (Islam) rule

    If some one wants to marry a different religion lady she should first become a Muslim

    Other wise we (Muslims) will not except the marriage and mostly will not allow them to move on with there family as well

    BTW In srilanka there is a different rule for Muslim marriages

    the song is not banned, just the video cannot be shown in government media outlets. private media still can show the video. audio can be played even in government media outlets (whatever they are). I dunno whether it is legal but it is unfair for a minister to ban a media production without having expert opinion on it.
    since only the concern is with the video, maybe the sensitive issues are in the visuals but not in the lyrics.
