    meh, 8, 9, just a difference of 1.
BTW why have you backtracked on The Expendables ? You were claiming it to be stupid all over this thread.

My stupidity is to be expected.
But wise guys should be more precise at least to the 1 digit
which makes difference of 1 is a mistake

i am not the only one
The A team is rated 47% on metacritics
    48% on Rottentomatoes
i dont say i am a critic lol.
the movie is plain stupid for me

I don't follow critics I don't care what they rate movies but I'd give the A team about an 8 outa 10 if i was ever to rate it :) critics are equally biased and partial just as any other human being...and I really fail to see what the A team lacked that the expendables had...btw did the expendables had any character development? and just outa curiosity, what was it rated at rotten tomatoes and metacritics ?

i dont also give a damn what they say
    well expandable ?
    character development?

expendables also hasnt got a real character development and Plot is some thing u might argue. But is it not possible for me to enjoy? coz they all are superstars of the past.:D

character development is all about some basic facts
A character that seems to merely fall out of the sky with no background will not be very real to the audience. and they should be able to actually connect to the audience. Audience is more interested in what happens to characters that they are emotionally attached to.

Characters do a great job with out the attachment of the audience -"Inception " lack of such development
U feel the man.U know what he is gonna do-"Serpico " superb character development ..

I only brought the matter of character development in expendable forth to point out the irony that you didn't have a problem with the lack of it in expendables where you seem to care enough to give a darn about the lack of it in the A team :P

I don't think the character development of the characters in a movie play that big a role in any case though but it's always good if they do it.

anyway back to the matter of the A team, it's not a dumb movie by any mean, it had fairly good acting and a good plot. and nice action and good dialogs. too bad for you, you couldn't like it. :P
