u are wrong bro what about paradise lost, moonspell, candlemass, comparing to these bands they are just

paradise lost don't even play doom anymore and haven't in a long time ..moonspell isn't doom too they are more gothic than doom. candlemass is trad doom, ok I'll give you them, they are more known than my dying bride.. but i can never get into trad doom

my dying bride along with paradise lost, anthema, winter and disembowelment made death doom what it is...and the reason why i pick my dying bride is, they are very unique..I've listened to literally hundreds of doom bands but nothing come close to special atmosphere my dying bride create.

I'm not a metalhead, I'm merely a fan of doom metal and ive listened all the metal sub genres you can think of..that's how I know bands like cannibal corpse..
but once I got to know bands like anathema, my dying bride, saturnus or skepticism I got hooked and addicted..now all the other heavy sub genres just appear to me soul-less empy shells ...they don't do what doom does for me..I might never return to death or thrash or whatever I've found the love of my life
now its only doom, deathdoom, funeral doom and sometimes depressive black metal.
