A nice old movie which is similar to the book barring few moments. Unlike the book, This revolves around Passportout. Not good in editing and because of that film is quite long. A great way to see how the world looked like in those days.

Glory 1989-Edward Zwick 8.0/10 IMDB ,my rating 85%

Very good movie and finally saw it.good performances from Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman.

Edward Zwick is the drector of following good movies

The Last Samurai ,Courage Under Fire ,Legends of the Fall ,The Siege ,Blood Diamond ,Defiance

It's a real story. But some incidents and characters have been added or changed. Watched this about a year ago. Really great.

The Shawshank Redemption [1994]

One of the greatest films I have ever witnessed. Great acting by Freeman and Robinson. Whole theme of the film is bonded with the freedom and the film contains the feelings and the hardships prisoners have to co-op in the prison. Rated 10 at IMBD. A must watch for all.
