it was slow but wasn't boring. ask me whether i'd watch it again & i'll be saying no. since the film is highly rated in IMDB most people must be considering this as a masterpiece?
well for me i thought it could have been better. didn't like how it ended. it was too sudden i thought. de niro was pretty good. haven't seen much of his old films, must download some. any suggestions?

i consider it as martine scorecse's masterpiece.Ending is what made me think its better than an average good movie.He was a hero after all. Didn't give a damn about his previous dream girl.

Martin scorseses best for me as well
this movie takes its time and creates the appropriate mood, and takes us down into de niro's loneliness and despair..it makes you live his life when you watch this at late nights in the dark...you can feel travis bickles solitude when you see this movie...it'z a study of his character, a well detailed one. A very interesting movie and a script with very powerful acting. watch raging bull it's considered scorsese's crowning achievement and de niro's acting in it is widely regarded as the best acting job by an actor in entire cinema
