rewatched just to see Travolta's acting for the second time
Brilliant movie
My Ratings 9.5/10

COLOR=Green]It looks like another normal detective movie which we can find from almost all of shops in the pavement until it gets to the bottom line

Directors talents , music direction is too good to be ignored even for a careless watcher like me,
leaving no choice but to praise

travolta is brilliant as he always but not as much as Face off [/COLOR]

I'd say its much watch movie for those who loves somewhat emotional movies rather than detective ones

Amélie (2001)

a beautiful story. love the way the characters are introduced in the movie. i thought this would be a boring artistic movie. but this kept me glued to the screen. can't say anything wrong about this movie.

this movie sorta bored me but still gta comment on the dreamlike atmo and mindblowing cinematography.

watch punch-drunk love, P. T Anderson's - hollywood but nothing like regular hollywood...it's romance+comedy, far from amalie but just like amalie, it's not your regular rom com

last life on univerese - jap movie sorry it's not french but two shares something similar..

here's a few french and european movies..

the piano teacher - I see this has already been recommended, it's nothing like amalie..obviously much better though..one of my absolute favorite and of course very french.

open hearts - danish movie, romance alright but be onguard for serious heart wrecking stuff.

breaking the waves - movie takes place in scotland I think and from a danish director, without a doubt most romantic movie ever

delicatessen - french, surreal, post apocalyptic, symbolistic, effing smart ..and romance.

don't worry I'm fine - french, damn depressing.

let the right one in - very romantic, swedish, vampire flick.

cashback - brit rom com, I think this is the closest that gets to amalie

the dreamers - it's french+hollywood, good movie

cache - great french movie, don't miss it.

a short film about love - polish film, well, the name has it, everything that's to be said about love, is in this movie.

interview with the vampire was of course a great romance movie

this one never gets old, the quotes like "all my passion went with her golden hair. I'm a spirit of preternatural flesh. Detached. Unchangeable. Empty. ..."

you know some movies you saw, they don't strike you right away..you get to think about them and then they go up slowly amazing your mind ..inception is one of the opposite of that now I consider it to be attention seeking trash.

Well finally have found a torrent, but it's kinda sluggish.

Yeah, Watched both aforementioned films. Courage Under Fire is superb and Face Off is an action galore.

Well I will machan though my appetite is somewhat different.
