for an action comedy, yes. For a crime drama, it doesnt even come close.

true.It had a lot of hype because of all the famous actors and it is not what you call one of the all time great movies.Bt you got to admit it was fun to watch

then crime drama is not your thing. Action movies are.

Not really,I tend to like stuff like the godfather.

BTW machan if you are still into super hero stuff.Watch the motion comic series Batman Black and White.Awesome stuff.One episode is like 3-4 minutes long cause it was released on itunes.Bt worth watching.

Well i watched it cause one of my friends said the same thing.However for me the plot was tacky.There were a load of side events in the film that did not contribute to the main plot.And almost all the "bad guys" die with almost no fight.No prolonged gun fight just bang in the head and that's it.

I watched this movie a few years back.I think this movie is about being yourself and not following some made up pseudo dream/life.That kid who sells marjuana (cant remeber his name) is the freest person in the movie,he sees beauty in his own way end enjoy being him self decpite others saying things about him.Every other character in the movie follows a made up american dream which only make them overwrought.

Only Q i can answer is the 3rd one,he is creative cos he sees the world in his own way
(Im not a strong movie interpreter but this is what i got from that movie,i could be wrong)

have you people even seen the effing movie? what about the heist seen where niro, kilmer and all get into a long shootout with the police? that movie, according to my opinion, had everything a proper crime/action movie should have, and even more...good character development and acting are stuff that's hardly found, in this genre

1. not sure, but he was confused I suppose..and closet homosexuals always tend to hate the scene in public

2. I dunno, it's up to you to decide i think..may be he realized that she was at the same age as his daughter ..that could be one thing among many other reasons.
3. many creative people in art or literature in history had not had a good childhood pain and suffering inspire good art...plus, good artists always do the drug
4. don't remember the movie that well to answer any of these questions that well, but he may have meant that she'll realize she was living a fake, pre defined life.

oh my poor memory.6 months ago i could have given the answers u were looking for. One should analyse the facts to determine hidden meanings ..very good movie..Reminded me of Roman polonaski's "Tenent" same thought process is needed ..

Bro I am not saying the movie did not have good shoot outs.The bank robbery where the cops turn up and both sides go at it with machine guns was awesome.The problem I have is how the characters in the film are killed off.For example William Fichtner who plays the character called Roger Van Zant is at one moment just watching tv in his apartment the next minute De Niro walks in shoots him and just walks off.Also there is the character called Waingro(the serial killer),again de niro breaks into his hotel room shoots him and walks off.I mean come on

lol in one of those clint eastwood man with no name westerns, one character says, "if you are gna shoot, just shoot, dont talk " ..I just found it realistic anyway. niro was a pro..he didn't really ever let his emotions get the best of it ..well he did in the end though, when he realized it, it was too late

found any new english comedies ? you should see a fish called wanda btw.
