malik muwatta Book 47, Number 47.3.12: Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al-Musayyab from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "A strong person is not the person who throws his adversaries to the ground. A strong person is the person who contains himself when he is angry."

Importance of the Beard in the words of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)

(1) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said "I have no connection with one who shaves, shouts and tears his clothing e.g. in grief or affication."
- Reported by Abu Darda (R.A.) in Muslim, Hadith no. 501

(2) Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (R.A.) relates that: "He who imitates the kuffar (non-believers) and dies in that state, he will be raised up with them on the Day of Qiyamat (Judgement).

(3) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) says: "Trim closely the moustache, and let the beard flow (Grow)."
- Narrated Ibn Umar (R.A.) in Muslim, Hadith no. 498

(4) "Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ordered us to trim the moustache closely and spare the beard" says Ibn Umar.
- Muslim, Hadith no. 449

(5) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)said: "Act against contrary to the polythesists, trim closely the moustache and grow the beard."
- Reported by Ibn Umar (R.A.) in Muslim, Hadith no. 500

(6) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said "Trim closely the moustache and grow the beard."
- Reported by Abu Hurairah (R.A.) in Muslim, Hadith no. 501

(7) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "Anyone who shaves has no claim to the mercy of Allah"
- Reported by Ibn Abbas (R.A.) in Tibrabi

Narrated by Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, 'All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse.' They said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Who will refuse?' He said, 'Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it) [Bukhari Volume 9, Book 92, Number 384]

Today’s Hadith​

Honouring Transgressors Destroys Islam​

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “When a man honours a transgressor, he helps the destruction of Islam.” [Ihya Ulum Id-Din by Imam Ghazali]

Sayeed-b-Musayyeb, the famous scholar among the Tabieen, was asked by Caliph Abdul Malek to swear allegiance to his two sons Walid and Solaiman. He said, “I will not take allegiance to them till night and day turn as the Prophet prohibited allegiance to two persons (as rulers of the Muslims, at one and the same time).” As a result, he was flogged and made to wear a dress of disgrace. [Ihya Ulum Id-Din]

Can you take a stand for the sake of preserving Islam?

Life asked death: "Why do people love me, but hate you?" Death responded: "Because you are a BEAUTIFUL LIE and I'm a PAINFUL TRUTH".
To ALLAH we belong and to ALLAH we return (2:56)
