I have intel core2duo 2.93 processor. It seems to be CPU usage allways very high. There are no any virus attacks. I noticed there is a abnormal behaviour in BIOS thermal margin. It is very low. some times it goes to -20 s. Once I changed cpu power unit.Temporarly it's ok. But again i am facing such problem. Anyone know about this??

press ctrl+shift+esc and go to the task manager -> Processes and check if there is any application got more processor utilization. if so check that program and try to end task.
then download ccleaner and go to the registry-> startup programs-> and uncheck that program and restart the computer.

if it doesn't work try to download the ubuntu and burn it into a disk then put that into the DISK ROM and run it. now go to the ubuntu run without installing option and try to see the processor utilization on ubuntu. if there is anything wrong on Linux too then definitely there is something hardware malfunction unless it's your Windows OS/Software/Driver trouble.

try to install chipset driver also.

Restore the windows/ repair the windows /format and reinstall the windows /patch the windows with latest updates those are alternative methods.

a lot of people here have no idea what they are talking about.88 c is way too high .

see the +12v row? it represents +12v rail of your power supply.+12v rail is the most important rail. if CPUID is reading correctly you have a failing power supply. average 12v rail voltage should be above 11.70.but yours shows 8. thats VERY VERY bad.

this could be due to number of reasons

    1.failing power supply
2.nothings wrong with your power supply.it could be a misreading

    or

    3.driver issues

if i were you i would first get my power supply to a technician and get it checked.

    wtf this is totally weird.
I can't believe processor temperature goes to -27 in Sri Lanka.
it is not even possible in New Zealand. might be in Antarctica.
I think the motherboard sensor is broken. when you were playing the game, did you notice any lags, choppy game play?
yeah above one is also might be correct. fix a new PSU it won't cost lot.

I bought a new power unit. But the problem is still there.
