go to privacy settings....

thr on top under "Connecting on Facebook" section, click edit settings

it'll give you list of options to control privacy.

1. Search for you on Facebook > set this to friends only or friends of friends... (recommend friends only)

2. Send you friend requests > set this to friends of friends..

this settings will reduce getting friend requests..

and dont forget...... if you have a huge friend list, thn obviously lot of ppl can see your profile through your friends walls, and friend lists..
so obvious options is to keep your friend list to people you personally know
