How to transfer money to India

I want some little amount of money to be transferred to India. what is the best way to transfer money..??
I think the western unions in our country are only allowing to receive money.. any way to send money??

well, I had asked from commercial bank a few years back and they said you can send but there is a limit to the amount you can send. Cant remember the amount now. You call a bank and ask for details. Almost all the banks are WU agents.
