coz u are only allowed to work 20hrs a week and the minimum pay rate is $12.80. its prety hard to find a well paid job for a student. so consider ur self lucky if u get paid $15.00+. assuming its 15 buks a hour u could only earn $300 a week (probably around $250 after tax.) if u chose to live in the city rent and expenses are most likely to be over 150. so u cant really save much. Its during the summer vacation that you would prolly get to save some as u can work as much as u want and the break is for about 3 months (i dont know much about ur institute but in general that is how it works.) just be prepared for the worst bro. coz i have met a lot of ppl who just freaking curse the country when they dont get what they expected. it will be lil hard in the first couple of months but once u settle down u'll fken love it. (I have read some where, on ave NZ men sleep wit 27 chiks and was 2nd on that list) finding a job might look like a daunting task but hang in there and dont give up. oh and dont go flatting with indians coz they will rip u off. 'MOST' of'em are cheap cunts.

Master is right on the pay and all. But I don't know anything about the chicks. Yep, the first few months might be a bit challanging for a lota reasons. Namely, you are away from your family, gota cook for yourself, work and study at the same time. Finding a job is totally subjective. Depends on a lota things, like your English speaking/understanding ability. I managed to find a job with in a week or so. Like I said scoring a job depends on a lota things. The pay here is not very pretty but you gotta start some where. As you gain nz experience and qualifications you would be able to earn more.
Yep, don't flat with fukin Indians. No offence to the Indians. But some of them can be cunts.
