1) Do you believe in an afterlife ? ( Briefly explain your answer ; )
2 ) How "consciousness" conceived for the fist time ? If you are materialist why a " rock " doesn't have a consciousness/life while animals have ; both are made of same materials/atoms right

2. Too exhausting to give you a tour about evolution and first microorganisms, but apparently, some "materials" liked volcano soup more than "other materials", now we are here
. Rocks don't have a life neither consciousness, humans have both but trees and plants have a life, but not consciousness. So what are trees and plants?
Does microorganisms have consciousness? Can they think? Do they know who they are? Those are still life forms.
Something isn't found or proven yet doesn't automatically say it doesn't exist ;

Unfortunately for after life, consciousness is simply brain activity, when brain dies, consciousness ends, hence no afterlife.Something isn't found or proven yet doesn't automatically say it doesn't exist ;

Rocks' "elements" and Animals' "elements" are arranged in different ways.
Think about soaking, water is not soaked, a towel is not soaked. Putting water into towel makes the tower wet and soaked. Towel absorbs the water, making it soaked.
A rock is a rock because it has very simple molecule structure, animal is a way more complex organism.
Again, you are ignoring the fact according to your logic, something like a tree is sitting in the middle of a living thing and a rock. Where do you draw the line?

Can both change this trajectory ?
Can a tree suicide without following this "order"
Can trees reflect on " wtf I'm doing - I should change this trajectory and seek for the meaning of life "

They can't challenge and work against this "nature's order" - the way they've programmed.
