These days I’m working on a small research project. The idea is this: as you know, brake pads wear out over time in vehicles. So I’m thinking of developing a new braking system by combining an eddy current braking system with a mechanical braking system.
With this approach, it might be possible to significantly extend the lifetime of brake pads.
What do you all think about this idea?
