    දැන් උබල විටමින් d test කරලා මොන ජාතියේ doctor කෙනෙක්ටද පෙන්නන්න ඕන? හන්දියේ බෙහෙත් සාප්පුවේ ඩොකාට පෙන්නුවොත් මොකද?

    උබ අද චෙක් කරාට ඊලග සතියෙ ඩී එන්නත් පුලුවන් නැති වෙන්නත් පුලුවන්.

    ඕක මාස ගනන් ඇගේ රැදෙන විටමින් එකක් නෙමෙයි.

    මගේ අදහස නම් බොරුවට සල්ලි වියදම් කරන්නෙ නැතුව සප්ලිමන්ට් එකක් විදිහට විටමින් ඩී ගන්න පටන් ගනින්.

    ලන්කාවෙ එවුන් කොහොමත් අව්වට යන එවුන් නෑ, ඒක නිසා විටමින් ඩී අඩුයි බහුතරේකගෙ.

    සාමාන්‍යයෙන් ගන්නෙ 1000IU වගේ, ෆාමසි වල over the counter තියෙනව.

    විටමින් ඩී වලට ඩොකාල හම්බෙන්න යන්නෙ මෝඩයො. ප්‍රෙස්ක්‍රිප්ශන් නැතුව ගන්න තියෙන්නෙත් ඕක ඩොකෙක් හම්බෙලාම ගන්න අවශ්‍ය නැති නිසා.

    අනිත් විටමින් ටික චෙක් කරගනින් ඒක වටිනව විටමින් B වගේ ඒව.

    The Pathologist act on the instructions of the GP, that's what I meant..
    GP give the prescription for test and the patient goes to private sector labs. MLT put the blood/serum sample to the machine. Report comes out. Chemical pathologist sign it to confirm machines are quality controlled. In private sector only money matters. More tests = More income. In government sector it's a whole different story. If a chemical pathologist available in the hospital if unnecessary test was written they will ask for the clinical history and differential diagnosis and if the test deemed unnecessary chemical pathologist will suggest different low cost tests to rule out that differential diagnosis. That's because of limitations of tests number available in government sector. When any field goes under business model no one bats an eye to changes in guidelines owing to profits.
