    I know sinhala very well. I grew up here went to ananda for 19 years, did all of my studies in sinhala. Went to katubedda for two weeks and then got a scholarship to a US university for my bachelors. The reason I don't like to use sinhala in posts is because using the english script simply butchers sinhala which is a much more subtle language. And the sinhala fonts are for too cumbersome. Also some technical terms don't have good sinhala translations

    yes there are lot of muslims there :) where do your cousins live? if they are girls i might know them. there are only 4 sinhala families in my village. area is called boowelikada
